Teaching
Designing a program is building too
The learners are the users. Here is what I teach now, and what I’ve designed, launched and taught before.
ALX Africa · 2023 to 2026
Software engineering program designer and lead instructor
- Designed and launched new software engineering programs.
- Taught the first cohorts of the programs I launched.
- Lead subject matter expert for a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree, which is now run by a university partner.
Now
Undergraduate software and AI engineering
I teach undergraduate courses in software and AI engineering: how to build software well, how AI systems work, where they fail, and how to use them responsibly. My blog’s AI fundamentals series grows out of this teaching, and Bozoma Innovation Hub’s programs bring AI skills to young people in Ghana.

Earlier teaching
- More than 1,000 learners through my iKrate community.
- More than 50 PharmD students and residents precepted as a clinical pharmacist.
- Digital School Academy (2020 to 2022), part of my work at iKrate-Ghana: free online webinars and YouTube videos teaching digital skills, with a channel that grew to more than 6,000 subscribers. I enjoy teaching, and I hope to share what I’ve learned since there when time allows.
- Pharmacy-profession videos on YouTube from pharmacy school, then coding tutorials from 2022.
